WeScout Policies

How WeScout works, and what to expect around payments, orders, and returns.

Last updated: September 2026

WeScout is a space for sport — training clips, match highlights, questions for coaches, and the everyday back-and-forth of a sporting community. These Community Guidelines set out what isn't welcome here, how we act on it, and how to report something that crosses the line. They sit alongside, and don't replace, the conduct rules in our Terms & Conditions (Section 3).

Content and behaviour we don't allow

Every post, comment, message, profile, and listing on WeScout falls under these rules. We treat the following as prohibited, whether it's a full post or a single comment:

Abusive, cringe, or harassing content

Insults, hate speech, bullying, threats, pile-ons, or content whose only purpose is to demean, mock, or harass another person or group. Disagreement and tough feedback on technique or performance are fine; targeting a person to humiliate them isn't.

Sexually abusive content

Sexually explicit content, non-consensual intimate imagery, sexual harassment, and any sexual content involving a minor. Content sexualising minors is never permitted under any circumstance and is escalated immediately regardless of context or intent.

Fraudulent content

Scams, fake giveaways, counterfeit or stolen goods, impersonating another person, team, academy, or brand, manipulating bids, ratings, wishlists, or engagement metrics, and fraudulent Pro-verification or fundraiser claims.

Physically harmful activity

Content that promotes or instructs dangerous stunts, unsafe training practices likely to cause injury, self-harm, violence, or otherwise encourages an activity that could seriously hurt someone.

How enforcement works

Anyone can report a post, comment, profile, listing, or other item using the Report option wherever it appears. Reporting asks you to pick one of the categories above, or "Something else" with your own description — pick whichever fits best; you don't need to be right, just clear about what you saw.

Every report goes into an admin review queue — nothing is auto-removed or auto-banned purely from a report being filed. An admin reviews the reported content against these Guidelines and decides what, if anything, to do: leaving it up, removing the content, or suspending the account, using the same categories you saw in the report form so the reason on file matches what was reported. A suspended account loses access to the Platform immediately and is notified of the suspension category. Severe or repeated violations — especially anything sexually involving a minor, or credible threats of violence — can result in an immediate, permanent ban.

Filing a false or bad-faith report (to harass someone you disagree with, for example) is itself a violation of these Guidelines and can lead to action against the reporting account.

Reporting something

Look for "Report" on a post's menu, a profile's menu, or the report link on a listing (Store, auction, academy, ground). Choose the category that best matches what you saw, or "Something else" to describe it in your own words, and submit — you'll see a confirmation once it's in the review queue. You can also block an account directly from their profile if you'd simply rather not see them, separate from reporting.

Appeals

If your account is suspended and you believe it was a mistake, reach the WeScout team through the in-app support tools or the Grievance Officer contact in our Terms & Conditions (Section 17). Include your account details and why you believe the decision was wrong; we'll review it.

Changes to these Guidelines

We may update these Guidelines as WeScout grows. We'll update the "Last updated" date above when we do.
